Happy Holidays!

I know Christmas is over and the new year is here but I hope everyone had a wonderful and festive holiday season! Although 2014 wasn't necessarily the best year for me things did eventually get better towards the end of the year and I'm positive things will continue to get better not only for me but for the people involved in my life including my friends, family and people I go to school with whether we're friends or not. The best thing last year for me was having the opportunity to do things I'd never dreamed possible but are my passions, making me grow as a person. This later brought me to the realization that I care about my community and want to give back to it in any way possible which is something I'd always wanted to do but never did excluding donating to charities and that sort but with the guidance of my dad I finally accomplished one of my long term goals so that is something I'm beyond grateful for.

As I told a friend of mine I opened Christmas presents two days early because my family went on vacation which is a whole other story and adventure but maybe I'll have a picture or two to put at the end of this post :p I'll be brief (or at least try to be) but some things I got for Christmas this year are a new Nikon camera that I never ended up buying since I used most of my birthday money to buy a new fifth generation iPod, a 'keep calm and carry on' tea truck, a hat and infinity scarf. I also got this gift from my dad earlier in December which I love a whole lot :)
