"Today is the day." Rose said, one Saturday morning.
"What do you mean?" Jane asked, confused.
"Today is the day that John is getting married." Jane explained.
Rose turned white.
"He didn't tell you did he?" Jane asked.
Rose shook her head.
"Who is he getting married too?" Jane asked.
"To Zoe. Hard to beleive, huh!" Rose answered.
Jane sighed.
She wished now that she had excepted John's proposal. She loved him. She had to do something.
Jane slipped into the church and hid as close to the front as she could.
Zoe walked slowly down the isle like she was a queen.
John stood there watching, not looking very excited.
The pastor stood there smiling.
Jane was lost in her imagaination when she suddenly got woken up by the pastor's words,
"Speak now or forever hold your peace."
Jane stepped foreward.
"I'm not the sort of person who would barge in on a white veiled occasion but you, John, aren't the sort of boy who should marry the wrong girl." Jane said.
"Nobody cares what you think." Zoe said, head held high and looking snobbish, "you lost your chance with him."
John looked at Jane and smiled.
"You are right. I made the wrong choice. I'm glad you stopped me before i could have said my vows."
This story is based on the song "SPEAK NOW" by Taylor Swift.
